Dr. Micah Tilley, Ph.D., R.Psych

Dr. Micah Tilley is a Registered Psychologist in Newfoundland and Labrador. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology (Honors) at Memorial University in 2013, masters degree in School/Applied Child Psychology in 2016, and doctoral degree in School/Applied Child Psychology program at McGill in 2023. Dr. Tilley's research is in the area of school-based intervention, emotion regulation, and mental health. She completed her doctoral residency at the Child and Youth Development Clinic in London, Ontario. Dr. Tilley is the author of the book "Healthy Minds, Healthy Schools: Strategies and Activities for Happy and Successful Learners."

While Dr. Tilley has extensive training and experience in treating a range of presenting difficulties and mental health concerns, she has a special interest in providing services to children and their families regarding anxiety, emotion and behavioral regulation difficulties, and parenting support. She also enjoys working with young children through play and art activities. Dr. Tilley specializes in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, including the assessment of learning disorders, cognitive development, and ADHD in both children and adults. She has experience working in various settings, including community clinics, hospitals, and schools. Micah has worked as a Psychologist with the Newfoundland & Labrador English School District and Labrador-Grenfell Health.
Dr. Tilley is committed to providing evidence-based, best practice assessment and intervention services to children, adults and their families. As a parent and professional, she demonstrates compassion and care. Forming strong connections with clients is important to Dr. Tilley; she believes that these connections foster trust and enable her to work collaboratively with her clients to help them overcome obstacles and to feel supported and successful.
